Fox News has made some upgrades since the election, most significantly replacing Never Trump Doofus, Brit Hume with Tucker Carlson. Megan Kelly might jump to CNN. They still have Greg Gutfeld on at all hours but let's take comfort where we find it.

Pirro is as laser-sharp as ever. It is a rarity for a Youtube video to have a 10:1 Views to Like ratio. This video currently is below 4. Unheard of! The most favorable reception I have ever seen!

The Bad News For Fox: Second Lowest Debate Audience

But the good news is they trumped MSNBC and CNN's partial coverage of Donald Trump's thinly-disguised political rally.

Nielsen reports that 12.5 million watched the GOP debate. Not sure how many people watched CNN or Chris Matthews but I am certain they had audiences one could describe as select and distinguished.

Trump's ploy probably worked. He has created an image that is bigger than the group in much the same way Jody Foster declined to play in Brat Pack movies. He has antagonized Fox and that will give him cred in some circles. For all the cynicism his media event might generate, Trump did raise 6 million dollars for veterans' causes. His absence from the debate made second place Ted Cruz the flack catcher.

The big question now is, stop me if you heard this one, Trump's ground game.  We shall see.

Belaboring A Point: Barack Obama Is The Father OF Birtherism

The birther story is one of the greatest stories never told.

It goes a little something like this:

1. Barack Obama claims to be of Kenyan birth and nurtures that falsehood for 17 years.

2. Barack Obama launches a presidential campaign and scrubs his own "born in Kenya" meme. All parties associated with Obama's literary agency practice an oath of Omerta that is still in effect today.

3. Disgruntled Hillary supporter and Democratic stalwart, Phikip Berg echoes Barack Obama's claim that he was born in Kenya. He also raises the more significant possibility that Barack Obama might have lost his US citizenship when he was adopted by a foreign national. Poetically, at about the age of majority, the Birther Meme leaves its idyllic childhood behind to enter an often hostile adult world.

4. The Birther Movement gains support from "the fringe" as mainstreamers including the likes of Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin treat the Birther subject like it is radioactive.  Meanwhile Obama Loyalists like David Gregory attack Republicans with ficticious accusations of promoting the Birther Meme.

5. Obama and his loyalists continue to relentlessly promote the president's victimization by any and all who might repeat his lie that he was born in Kenya. More significantly, they ditect their rage against parties who are too cowardly to even examine the subject. Ergo, Fox News contributed to the deaths of none innocent Bible scholars in Charleston, South Carolina.

The George Obama/Dinesh D'Souza link did not embed. I frequently have bad results when I embed from anywhere other than Youtube. In general, I don't like Fox News because they are as bad as their MSM brethren in covering up the real story. No John Drew. No staged faintings. No inquiries into the president's mysterious background (vetting = birtherism.)

But The Sean Hannity interview of Dinesh D'Souza was jaw-droppping. In addition to a brief chat with an erudite George ("We elected the wrong Obama") Obama, D'Souza mentions an aunt of Obama who lives on a few dollars a day by selling coal on the street. She dreams of dental work. She has a millionaire nephew who lives in luxury in the US but who refuses to share a shilling with his father's sister.

I will continue to search for the interview. I went to D'Souza's website. He might be a great speaker and videographer and writer, but his website sucks. I left there frustrated and without embed.

The Most Generous Man In The World

As previously stated, I did not start from the premise of "I dislike Barack Obama." Yes, I disliked his policies and his values and still do. But the man who has emerged over time is frightening in the extreme. In addition to his chronic duplicity, his narcissism, his lust for power and his cold, arrogant personality, Barack Obama is miserly in the extreme. If this guy doesn't give you a chill up the spine, you are no longer human.

I used to like Fox News.I think I would like Fox Business Channel too, if they were available.

Without Beck and Napolitano, Fox is stuck in the bush leagues. No John Drews. No Larry Sinclairs. No Philip Bergs. O'Reilly is a sell-out and Hannity is an idiot.

Way Off Topic But...

I can't let this one go. The whole Tiger Woods fiasco hit a ton of nerves for me. For instance, the shedding of tears for a gold digger when she succeeded in digging gold. And the ridiculous sexist double standard that allows a woman to attack her husband with a golf club with zero legal ramifications. The PR shenanigans. And perhaps the stupidest of all, the recurring labeling of men who like women as misogynists.

All of the above topics (and a few more) illustrate the inherent dishonesty that in rife in our culture. But let's get back to specifics. If this was Beck or Hannity or O'Reilly I would not bat an eye. They do opinion and Brit Hume is an anchor. Big difference. Big difference.

Why does Hume feel it is OK to trash Buddhism? I bet if Tiger were Jewish or Moslem, Hume would not suggest a religious upgrade. And why is it that Christians love to focus on sexual matters to the exclusion of all else? Why doesn't Hume suggest that the radical elements of Islam, i.e murderers, change their faith? In that regard, Hume is not much different from a lot of other Christians I have known.

As far I know, Hume and Fox have never apologized to Woods or to Buddhists. That is too bad.
