Big Brother's End Game

It was nice while it lasted. Freedom. America. We tasted these things but we let them slip away from us. Now Big Brother is putting the icing on the cake and no one cares. A nation that elects and supports and blindly follows Barack Obama cares nothing about freedom or about America.

The legendary Nat Hentoff (a true liberal) sums it up.

I don’t remember the Occupy Wall Street marchers and drummers ever mentioning the National Security Agency.

The NSA is about as subtle as Stasi in their stated objectives to snoop and dominate and eavesdrop and control.

It is encouraging that the Van Jones crowd is echoing the warnings but...

...I am still cynical. The whole fight the power, stick it to the man, crush the machine, power to the people mentality is lost on Obots and Occupants. Drink the Kool-Aid and pass the bong. Nothing wrong with following a cult leader so long as it's a cooler than cool cult leader.

The resistance ethic is lost on today's youth long placated with dumbass slogans and an idiot who can't say 'hello' without a teleprompter. Nothing wrong with Stasi if you got the the anointed one in the White House. He won't be snooping on his campaign contributors.

The Republic was not lost in secret. It was hijacked in plain view in front of a drooling, apathetic public. But the Kool-Aid was delicious. Mmm mmm mmm.

Farewell America.

You Don't Need A Mailman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows

CHICAGO – Did the parents of former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers help finance Barack Obama’s Harvard education?
Did Ayers’ mother believe Obama was a foreign student?

And was the young Obama convinced at the time – long before he even entered politics – that he was going to become president of the United States?

See the entire story at link below.

If you get to know me in daily life you will hear me say one of two things. 1. I am busy. 2. I am tired. Now I am more of the former than the latter. I still want to post about all the recent developments but I am prioritizing my more urgent concerns.

Obama is still "Twilight Zone." The young Barack made a habit of telling people he barely knew that he would someday be president of The United States. Strange becomes weird and the mailman of William Ayers' parents claims he met a young Barack Obama at the elder Ayers' home. This is not the first link between Obama and William Ayers. The path between the venerable pair is well worn and free of obstacles.

But the media will not discuss the Ayers-Obama relationship. Worse, most Americans just don't care. That is not just discouraging, it is demoralizing. Stupidity is annoying but we are accustomed to it. Deliberate stupidity on the other hand, is terrifying. Pass the Kool-Aid and chant the slogans. Never, ever, ever look behind the curtain. Never, ever, ever think for yourself.

I sometimes overestimate the power of truth. Hold the facts up to the light and the people will usually make the right choice. But we live in an era where light is unstylish. Obama has been exposed as a petty, petulant, vapid, buffoonish, incompetent shell of of a man who validated the Peter Principle when he was annointed community organizer.

But it is not the gross incompetence that fuels my cynicism. What bothers me is the, um, irregularities and skeletons and absurdities the press just will not touch and tens of millions of Americans just cannot witness. Who financed Obama's education? No one cares. We knew EVERYTHING about Joe the Plumber within 24 hours of his asking the president a simple (solicited)question but the media has not identified even one of the ten women who fainted at Obama's speaking engagements in the past ten years.

I understand people who got caught up in the hype in 2008. But time passes and the buffoon has been exposed as a sham, a fraud and possibly something much more sinister. That anyone, let alone tens of millions of Americans, allow themselves to be duped--and one has to assist oneself in the duping--by a sleazy, cheesy, silly, two-airplanes-on-a-family-vacation-as-he lectures-us-on-fuel-economy, carpetbagger is depressing. It is depressing and demoralizing and deflating.

Welcome to Jonestown.
