The more Palin is ridiculed by the media elite, the more she needs to be considered as a presidential candidate. Suitability for the highest office in the land is inversely proportionate to media affection. The Pampered One still gets his tender areas kissed while Uncle Sam drowns in red ink and awaits his leaden life preserver. How bad could the media's favorite enemy possibly be?

Fraudulent Friday: Dubious Citizenship Takes On A Life Of Its Own
My editorial position is similar to Lou Dobbs' editorial position. What we are perceiving is a predictable backlash against patterns of deception and secrecy. Obama has never been intellectally honest. His motives and values are always a mystery. There are more questions than answers in his health care plan. There are more questions than answers in his cap and trade bill. There always seems to be a last minute change and a lot of unforseen detail. Mr. Transparency might be remembered as the Fine Print President.
Obama's campaign was based on empty slogans like 'hope' and "change" and "spread around the wealth." The slogans galvanized the cultish but did not win over skeptics. There was a deliberate anti-intellectualism that masked itself as pseudo-intellectualism. Mr. Harvard Law School talks in sound bites. Now, in the words of Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the chickens have come home to roost.
Obama's presidency is not yet eight months old and he already has a growing credibility program. The antidote is full disclosure. Release Obama's records. All of them. Student records, passport records, records from Indonesia and wherever else he has left a paper trail. Tell us your true objectives about health care, taxation, cap and trade and America's place in the world.
Eight months into the presidency, we still know more about Joe the Plumber than we do Barack Obama.

One More Time: Peasants vs. McCaskill
THIS CROWD IS SLIGHTLY FEWER IN NUMBER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT NANCY PELOSI'S BOOK
More Peasants With Pitchforks
My faith in the average American has been restored.
HOW TO GET A STANDING O IN MISSOURI
HOW TO GET A STANDING O IN MISSOURI
What Does Obama Want?
Obama generates suspicion because he never puts his cards on the table. If he wanted to provide universal health care he could have done so with a fraction of his stimulus plan. A fraction. Instead, he lined the pockets of his political allies and and we are hard pressed to find anything vital in his so-called stimulus plan.
By the way, you can do the math at home but not everyone seems to agree on the numbers. The number of uninsured that gets tossed around is 47 million. Is there a fact checker in the house? Limbaugh states that the 47 million is inflated. But even if we use that upper number, 47 million, we could probably offer excellent coverage for about $4000/person. That would come to $188 billion per year. Multiply that by four and you have the approximate cost of Obama's so-called stimulus plan. Obama could have covered every American for his first four years in office.
So if Obama is truly a bleeding heart, someone who possesses genuine sympathy for the uninsured, his actions don't show it. He had an opportunity to insure the uninsured and he left them out of the equation. Millions here, billions there but nothing for the uninsured. Nada.
So what is Obama's real agenda? I don't know. Does anyone but Obama's inner circle know? We can speculate. We can say that he wants control for control sake or that he wants to crush the insurance industry. But we don't know. We have no idea. Everything with Obama is shrouded in secrecy. The candidate who preached transparency has run the most occluded administration in memory. Just what is Obama's agenda? What does Obama want?

Franken: Senate Class Clown
I have a soft spot for Al Franken because he has made me laugh and because he is not a sellout in the tradition of Maher and Letterman. But damn...Let's put the Air America scandal and the possible voter, umm, irregularities in Minnesota aside. We can discuss those another time. The question we need to ask ourselves is "what does Franken bring to the table now?"

Bill Maher: Smug Bastard or Sellout Supreme?
As with Letterman, it hurts to watch Bill Maher boldly chart the course of least resistance. Anyone who bashes Palin and blows Obama can't very easily be called politically incorrect. But Maher used to host a show called "Politically Incorrect" and for a while he was just that. But Maher went Hollywood and so did his views. He sold out and thereby secured steady employment.
Oh and yes, Maher used to be funny.

Media Monday: Collins Never Wastes an Opportunity to Play The Race Card
Liddy comes across as slow-witted, or at least slow to respond. Matthews still has the thrill going on. Collins is a kiss ass and a race baiter.
