Beyond Fake News: Maddow Blames Venezuelan Riots On Donald Trump

This story could use a few elves and unicorns and dragons and wizards to prop up its credibility. We accept that the Maddows twist the news to their liking but even in the silliest Putin-stole-the-election-from-Hillary falsehood, there are a few basic facts to distort. Here, Maddow resorts to promoting pure and absolute fantasy. It is a stark reminder of just how indifferent to truth the Left shall ever be. Frightening.

Sadly, most Leftists are brain dead zombies who want to be deceived by the likes of Maddow.

IT WAS A WORKER'S PARADISE BEFORE TRUMP GOT INAUGURATED

A Boatload Of Jeremiahs

This is all the sweeter for Mike Murphy's appearance at about 10:00. Prior to calling the general election about as wrong as possible, Murphy worked on the Jeb Bush campaign where he famously secured fifth place for his candidate in Iowa at the unheard of cost of $2,884 per vote. He also formulated the ingenious strategy of attacking Christie, Rubio and Kasich, leaving Trump, Cruz and Carson untouched. Somehow, this buffoon commands a seven-figure salary. What a country!

MSNBC Calls Nice Attack "Truck Crash"

Previously this blog highlighted a Howie Carr column where he poses the question, "Will the Nice Attack Be Called Road Rage?"

In an unintentional act of self-parody, MSNBC has labeled the Nice attack a "Truck Crash."

The Bad News For Fox: Second Lowest Debate Audience

But the good news is they trumped MSNBC and CNN's partial coverage of Donald Trump's thinly-disguised political rally.

Nielsen reports that 12.5 million watched the GOP debate. Not sure how many people watched CNN or Chris Matthews but I am certain they had audiences one could describe as select and distinguished.

Trump's ploy probably worked. He has created an image that is bigger than the group in much the same way Jody Foster declined to play in Brat Pack movies. He has antagonized Fox and that will give him cred in some circles. For all the cynicism his media event might generate, Trump did raise 6 million dollars for veterans' causes. His absence from the debate made second place Ted Cruz the flack catcher.

The big question now is, stop me if you heard this one, Trump's ground game.  We shall see.

News Media Stunned Once More: 96% Of African-Americans Say Trump's Comments Did NOT Go Too Far

When asked if Trump went to far when he called for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration, 87% of Latinos, 88% of “other,” and 96% of blacks answered “no.”

Among white people, 69% answered “no.” Overall, 76% of Americans answered “no.” Trump’s overall support has increased since making the comments.

Personally, I don't like the way the question is phrased. "Too far?" What exactly does that mean? Still, when polling is this lopsided, you can jump to conclusions. If this were another candidate I might say beware the January Surprise. With Trump, there are no surprises left. With another candidate I might say he might yet put his foot in his mouth. Is that even possible with this guy?

In Case You Missed An MSNBC Tweet

It is one thing for the powerless, what Bob Black called The Marginals, to engage in raucous, insensitive and sophomoric political commentary. It is quite another matter for a branch of NBC/Comcast to go down that road. If they are looking to reestablish credibility at Peacock News, they are failing in that endeavor.

Haw Haw Haw. David Brinkley wasn't half as funny.

The tweet with a video embedded in it, created a firestorm from commenters on social media and news sites. It read: 'Does it count as a police chase if you drag the cop along for the ride?'

Rand Paul Shows How It's Done

Why can't Republicans answer questions like this all the time? Paul does not wither in the spotlight, he counterattacks. He rightfully questions MSNBC's honor and integrity. Long overdue.

Did The Clintons Get David Shuster Fired? They Can't Be All Bad

On the heels of Ed Klein's "Blood Feud" Daniel Halper brings us "Clinton, Inc."  Sounds juicy.

One of the revelations is that Hills and Bills used their clout toget smart ass MSNBC host, David Shuster fired. Shuster was by any standard, a joke. He made lewd comments about Chelsea Clinton because she had the audacity to support her mother in a primary battle against Shuster's deity, Barack Obama.

As I understand it, the Clintons' people posed as a prospective employer who floated riches innumerable to the cutie pie of the cheerleader squad. Shuster took the bait and his job-trolling was reported to MSNBC.

Journalism needs to prune the tree. It is not a 1st Amendment violation to purge liars and cheesy propagandists. And save a few tears for those not named David Shuster. He landed on his feet at Al-Jazeera.

AN OBOY SCORNED

Like a lot of Oboys, Shuster held an irrational hatred of Sarah Palin. Even after the election, he could not curb his hate.

How To Talk To The Media

Breitbart did not merely go on the defensive, he counterattacked at every opportunity. No "Kick me again in the fetal position, I can take it" from Breitbart. I wish there were more of him.
