Rest In Peace, Hugh Hefner
Hef, you probably made more young men's Hero List than anyone in history.
Year in, year out, surveys revealed that you were the man most other men would rather be.
Hef was a bigger than life icon in an era when most public figures, including (or especially) 300 lb. football players, seem so puny, Hefner was an American original. The most envied man in history.
Rest in peace, Hef. I bet you died with a smile on your face.

More Et Tu Brute Stuff
I was performing grill duty during the Patriots game and I could only check scores periodically. I was able to watch Brady orchestrate another signature game-winning drive capped by an amazing catch by Brandin Cooks.
My enjoyment of the game was not ruined by the knowledge that Cooks had taken a knee during the National Anthem.
I had already taken a Patriots-only approach to this season. I was planning to watch their games and let the others fall by the wayside. Now I am not even sure I will watch The Brady Bunch again.
