Yeah yeah yeah and Benedict Arnold should be remembered as a great American general who bravely served our country.
The media LOVE Republicans. More specifically, they LOVE Republicans who lose. They LOVE Republicans who betray. They LOVE Republicans who badmouth the base of their party. They LOVE Republicans who stand on principle, especially a principle shared with the Demomedia Complex.
McCain betrayed us in Syria.
McCain betrayed us on health care (and laughed in our faces while doing so,)
McCain betrayed us on Spygate.
Remember the death of Gerald Ford? The media were generous with their seemingly endless praise.
Ford was not a traitor. He was a good man. Why then, the boatload of accolades?
1. Ford lost to Jimmy Carter.
2. Ford was NOT Ronald Reagan.
We can argue if that was one or two Cupid arrows. Had Ford been a little more Reaganesque he might not have been challenged by the real RR and he might have defeated Mr. Peanut.
The racist, baby-killing war monger would find reincarnation of his maverick status in his overt and covert attacks on Donald Trump, Trump supporters and the Trump agenda. It is hard for me to find kind words for the Senator but out of respect for the departed, I recycle the highest praise ever heaped upon the man.
In the spirit of Clarence Darrow reminding us of the sparkling qualities of Leopold and Loeb or perhaps more like the backlot huckster pointing out that if you keep the slightly-rusted beater on he road for four years, you will have a classic on your hands, I turn this eulogy over to one of the greatest orators of our times.

Kingmaker Sarah Palin Endorses Nehlen
Most endorsements matter not at all but a Sarah Palin thumbs up? Ask mediocretins like Nikki Haley and Kelly Ayotte how much a Sarah Seal of Approval can mean. I maintain that if John McCain had channeled his inner Sarah in 2008, he would have won his election but let's revisit that another time.
I can't think of anyone who has done a better job pf picking winners than the former governor of Alaska. Trump's primary campaign hit a new gear when he received Palin's backing. Be careful selling her short.
Don't ask me what happened to Paul Ryan. I suspect he was in Washington too long and his loyalties to places like America and Wisconsin were eclipsed by his loyalty to The Beltway. A symptom of Potomac Fever is that it can turn a good man into a prissy ass diva. Even is he wins on Tuesday, Ryan's days as Speaker are numbered.

"Wisconsin, please vote for this man 'of the people' this Tuesday!" she wrote.
Palin backed Nehlen in May in response to Ryan saying he wasn't yet ready to support Trump. At the time, she told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" that Ryan's "political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people."

Donald Trump's Choice For Attorney General Would Be My First Choice As Well
Trey Gowdy! In Trump fashion, the new curtains are already being ordered. Just think of what Donald could do if he had a little bit of confidence.
Oh, and Trump wants Sarah Palin in his Cabinet. Not sure in what capacity she would serve but this is a bold outreach to bitter clingers and it's about time that demographic was supported. I would love to see Palin back in the spotlight just to rev up the haters.
Trump might have better political instincts than we had first imagined.

Sarah Palin's Impeachment Manifesto
Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept.

Run Sarah Run
Senator Palin has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? If Sarah were Senator, her sound bites would annoy the political class to no end. The Mike Barnicles would be subjected to condemnations of hopey changey stuff on a nightly basis. Ahhh, is there a symphony so sweet?
Larry Sabato has the Alaska Senate election as a toss-up. How the hell does that happen? The Democrats used extreme prosecutorial misconduct to run Ted Stevens out of office. This scandal makes other abuses of power look tame by comparison. Won't the citizens of Alaska remember the villainous manner in which Mark Begich assumed office?
The citizenry probably would remember if they were not once more presented with weak GOP alternatives. Sarah Palin would change all of that. Run Sarah, run!

Sarah Palin Talks About Leaving The GOP
I can hear it now. "It would be a disaster." But the status quo is a disaster. Maybe we should let Jeb and Karl and Marco and Lindsey have their precious GOP. What have we got to lose?

Two Can Play The Alinsky Game
I keep hearing the Dems and media types say "The election is over. Let's put the rancor behind us." In other years, it might be the perfect response to "get over it."
Not this year. Not after the Dems spent $250 million to assassinate the character of an incredibly decent man. That number does not include the free assistance the Networks provided. Let us also remind everyone that Obama's attacks were divorced of fact.
Romney was never a murderer. He never caused cancer. He was never a tax cheat or a felon. He has never been a misogynist. Lies on tops of lies on tops of lies. Truth means absolutely nothing to Obama, the Democrats and the networks. Nothing. Now we are supposed to be civil? I think not.
Before Romney there was the character assassination of Sarah Palin. Truth was also optional in that case. So was the smear of George Bush. Yes, Bush was a nincompoop but he never started a war over oil nor was Hurricane Katrina a genocidal conspiracy nor did he drain middle class bank accounts to provide more wealth for the top 1 per cent.
There are several lessons to the recent election but I will limit our focus to just two. One, lies work. No one has ever lied like Obama. That's because no one has ever had the license to do so. The news media kept politicians in line. Dick Nixon might have had treachery in his heart but his falsehoods were limited by the fourth estate. The news media allowed the Obama campaign (and the Obama Administration for that matter) to lie with impunity. We ain't getting over it anytime soon.
The second lesson to learn from the last election is that negative politics work. Whereas, I do not advocate that we ever practice dishonesty under any circumstances, I do advocate reciprocal negativity. Romney took the high road and lost. What might have worked in the Reagan era won't work in the Springer era. Two can play the Alinsky game. Let's play it now. 365 days a year. No offseason.
So when the snakes ask us to kiss and make up, do remind them that their messiah is an admitted crackhead, a chronic and compulsive liar, an unrepentant Marxist, and according to multiple sources, he is a serial sodomizer. Remind them of this, every time Obama's name is mentioned. Every time.
No lies. No offseason. No mercy. You got two middle fingers. Use them.

Sarah Palin
I am saddened but not surprised that Sarah Palin has dropped out of the presidential race. The lesson here is never underestimate the mainstream media. I view every election as the peasants vs. the ruling class media. Sarah was our Joan of Arc and I think Saint Joan might have gotten off easy in comparison. The old media still matter and they will remind us of their import from time to time.
If Palin does not defend herself in a court of law I will lose all respect for her. Even successful litigation will be not restore her reputation. The elite can afford to pay tens of millions to make Palin go away. She could collect damages and it would be but a flea bite to an elephant. So yes, lawsuits might seem futile but she has to fight that fight anyway.
Paul Krassner stated "The truth is Silly Putty." The summary has never been more accurate or more relevant.

Dumbass Sarah Palin Department
Alaska has a $12 billion surplus. That is surplus, not deficit. Surplus. As in $16k per citizen surplus.
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/a7793258-6ba2-11e0-93f8-00144feab49a.html#axzz1OZAxqh4e
See how much the surplus has grown since she resigned! See! See! See! It was only two thirds that amount when she left office. Dumb ass!
If Palin had attended Princeton or Columbia or Harvard, do you think Alaska would currently have a budget surplus?

The Mooseman Strikes Again: Items From My Email
The Truth About Sarah Palin
Democrat, Independent, or Republican....this email is disturbing.
By Dewie Whetsell, Alaskan Fisherman.
As posted in comments on Greta's article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.
The last 45 of my 66 years I've spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska . I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.
1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club" (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.
2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES." Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.
3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as "pork." She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over" stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant.
Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine - that she's packing heat herself). I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.
4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.
5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.
6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that's just a cover-up. I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. I won't be holding my breath.
By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.
You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her. I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers, and bitter ex-presidents' wives.
So "You go, Girl." I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.
I rest my case. Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

In Middle Age I Am As Confused To The Ways of The World As I Was When I Was A Teenager
When you think you have attained some understanding of the world, of people, and of human nature, a wave will sweep ashore and deform your elaborate sand castle. The irrational hatred of Sarah Palin is confusing to me. I did not see this one coming and I did not see it becoming an obsession with a small but loud (due to their entrenchment in the news media) per centage of the population. Nor did I foresee the scapegoating of Sarah Palin for everything that goes wrong in the world. No, I did not foresee the mainstream media blame her for mass murder that she clearly did not influence. The media threw me a curve and no, I cannot hit it out of the park.
The people with minds that open like parachutes hate Sarah Palin. The people who celebrate diversity hate Sarah Palin. The people who view NYT as an oasis of sophistication hate Sarah Palin. The people who hate the very idea of hate and who incorporate terms like "hate speech" and "hate crime" into their daily coversation hate Sarah Palin. The conspiculously sanctimonious hate Sarah Palin. The people who concern themselves with social justice and gender equality and human rights hate Sarah Palin.
When McCain/Palin lost to Obama/Biden, I thought that the lies and hostility directed agaisnt Palin would go away. The heat of battle and all that. I was wrong once more. The media dragged out Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin's son. Joe McGinniss moved in next door to her. The Associated Press trumpeted her misspelling of one word on a Tweet. The MSM was obsessed.
Why Sarah Palin instead of Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee or Rudy Giulani? I don't know. I know Rand Paul endured an onslaught of blatant falsehood and Sharron Angle was treated much differently than the ever-venerable Harry Reid. But the media eventually eased off those enemies of the Fourth Estate. And the focus turned once more to Sarah Palin.
For four days Sarah Palin was libeled by the mainstream media. When I could not imagine it getting weirder. she defended herself only to be blasted for releasing the video of the day of the Tucson memorial service. I understand that some of this is pure politics. But if it pure politics, why not focus on the front runners in the early polls? Romney or DeMint or Gingrich? There is real HATE here that is genuine.
Lawrence O’Donnell, the out of the closet socialist on MSNBC, devoted the bulk of Wednesday's hourlong show to Sarah Palin. He objected to her releasing her video defending herself against baseless charges on the day of the Tucson memorial service. His attacks were vicious and if he was faking the hate, O'Donnell is a damn good actor.
Now let's pause to reflect for just a minute. On the day of the memorial service O'Donnell spewed venom at Palin for releasing a video on the day of the memorial service. Am I the only one who detects a shred of irony here? If the day of the Tucson memorial service was a day of national observance, does it not seem odd that O'Donnell and his guests would detract from that event to bash Sarah Palin?
And there is further irony. O'Donnell is critical of Palin for alleged incendiary speech but his atacks on Palin were anything but polite. If anything, he turned up the heat on this day of remembrance. Again. Am I the only one who detects irony?
One could dismiss O'Donnell as a hypocrite and I would not want to defend him against such charges. But I do not think O'Donnell can comprehend his own hypocrisy. He is not just a hired gun. His seething hatred is genuine.
So, are there any articulate hate mongers out there? Is there anyone who can tell this confused and possibly senile man why Sarah Palin is worthy of our hatred? Can you explain to me why Palin is a font of evil but the Fort Hood shooter, the Tucson shooter, the shoe bomber, on and on, are deserving of our unending compassion? They are disturbed and in need of help but Sarah Palin deserves our scorn (and even worse. See previous post.)
Palin haters, please edify and enlighten me. Please.

Postscript: Sarah Palin's TV Show
In an age of remote control, we frequently watch programming we did not intend to watch. Such is the case with "Sarah Palin's Alaska." Unforeseen events directed me to the living room and while there I flipped the TV to the football game. It was the 4th quarter of a close game (Giants v. Eagles) but there was a disputed call and I knew how long those things can drag on.
So I flipped over to Sarah Palin. In this episode the Governor and her oldest daughter, Bristol, help some commercial halibut fishermen. I had no idea that halibut were so big. But the coolest thing is that once you land them on deck, you have to whack them in the head with a billy club to kill them, careful not to miss the head and damage the meat.
They tastefully edited the film (sigh) but we get a glimpse of Sarah clubbing a halibut. She then orders her daughter to club the next hooked fish. El kabong! I retract my statement that I could never find this show interesting. It was a slice of heaven.
I don't hide my love and respect for Sarah Palin and yes, I hope she runs in 2012. Viewing her show has galvanized my affection for this tough broad. Run Sarah Run!
