Something big is supposedly scheduled for Monday. Actually, multiple events are predicted.
Julian Assange is expected to show his Aces but he has let us down before.
Sessions is predicted to play a part in the festivities. A testimonial to our corrupt times is that scandals are so numerous that impending DOJ action does not tell us anything. Spygate? Leakgate? Tarmac? The server? Huma? Awans? Seth Rich? 30k sealed indictments? Uranium One? Weiner's laptop? We could exclude all of these things and still witness a tsunami.
Those of us who have been told to trust the plan, have been sedated by Q Anon, Meganon, Eye the Spy, et al, but the meds are wearing off. We waited long enough. This week is supposed to be big, starting with bombshells on Monday. Let us hope the fireworks do not fizzle.

I seem to be happy these days. Trusting the plan. Would feel better if I saw certain somebodies brought to justice. In good time, we are told. Trust the plan.
There is so much to love about his video. Rundrgren and Hall live charmed lives. They reside in Hawaii and supplement their savings with home recordings. So many angles to the performance of one of my favorite songs.
For me, the show-stealer is the guy in the middle, Robert Trujillo. If you don't know, he is Metallica's third bassist who arrived on the scene about the time they started to suck. Not his fault.
Trujillo does great background vocals for a metalloid. He might be stuck in the bass union but he plays an amazing six string as well. I love his laugh too("It's not something I say in jest.")
I was beyond disgust and frustration with Jeff Sessions' inaction. Last fall I started a Care2 petition to remove Jeff Sessions. A friend of mine, who happens to believe in the primacy of Facebook, identified a dozen or so pro-Trump FB groups to join. I joined with the express purpose of recruiting signers to my petition. To date, I have collected 22 signatures for my efforts. I probably could have achieved the double deuces without Zuckerberg's assistance.
About a month after launching the petition, I discover Q Anon, and I developed a cultish obsession with all things Q. As cults go, it's not bad. Q never asks for donations. He doesn't ask for much. He likes it when we create memes but I have never made one. He also asks us to trust certain people, one being Sessions.
"Trust Sessions" is a recurring theme in Q posts. OK, I guess I will trust Sessions after all. Maybe if I had gotten 23 signatures, I would be so emboldened that as to pursue this thing further. But 22 John Hancocks?

I would like to know the plan I am supposed to trust but being one of the faithful and seeing the merits of belief in the unproven and unseen, I now trust Sessions. The trust won't last forever, of course. Then again, we on Planet Q believe something earth-shattering will happen soon. Sessions will lead the charge he has been leading all along.

In some ways, the AI comeback was a botched effort. ABC speeded up the format and the new judges were ass-kissers. Still, two major talents emerged. Don't be shocked if Madonna states that she no longer wants to blow up the White House and breaks into her comeback hit, "Make America Great Again." Zeitgeist weather vanes are not always opportunists but should they decide to practice opportunism, they are msaters of the craft.
Do you support principles or do you support proper nouns? If you are in the former category you will take celebrities with a grain of salt. You will enjoy their work as best you can without a commitment of the loyalty you might pledge to say, the New York Yankees.
Kanye did not marry a wealthy princess because he was some sort of exulted artist. Kanye became a media pet by assigning racial motives to Hurricane George.

Those of you who now pledge allegiance to Roseanne Barr, please be reminded how she Kanyed her way to the pinnacle of pop star success and conquered the hearts and minds of media gods. This would not be Roseanne's only Kardashian tactic but it would be her most overt.
NOSTALGIC YET?
I, for one, never appreciated the original "Roseanne" show. Then as now, I believed that the blue collar character was beyond pop culture's grasp. Archie Bunker sometimes dispensed folk wisdom but more often, he was a simple-minded buffoon. Archie and his coworkers could not grasp the pitfalls of accepting a pay raise that was of lesser numeric value than the cost of living index, despite the dire warnings from his college-educated son-in-law. If only Mr. Bunker had been educated, he too could have spouted pseudo-intellectual cliches as he finally got a handle on basic arithmetic.
I watched the season premiere of "Roseanne." It was the first time I sat through an entire episode. Surprisingly, there were some good lines. Surprisingly too, was the brevity of the controversial political discourse. A minute or two of the lead character explaining to her Hillbot sister why she and her husband voted for Trump. Not exactly pushing the envelope. I sensed a trap being set for all those MAGA newbie fans.
Cut to Roseanne Barr getting fired alongside two hundred little people for making an allegedly racist tweet. I will boldly assert that Barr's comments might be rude but they were not even vaguely racist. Count me in the school of thought that grown people do not make negative comments about other people's looks. But remember, the funniest thing now, and forever is that which we are not supposed to laugh at. Roseanne understands this and if a person happens to resemble a simian (and I hold the view that Valerie Jarrett does not resemble a simian) then she is going to bring that to our attention.
Let's face it, some people just have a simian look. Growing up, I remember two different kids who had at various stages of their lives, earned the nickname, "monkey." It wasn't because they ate bananas either. Yes, both kids were white. I bet if we searched with insensitive eyes we could find people from all over the globe who could be cast in "Planet of the Apes" sans makeup.
Delicately stated, I don't believe Valerie Jarrett resembles one of our primate relatives. She also does not look African, not even a little bit. But if one does make fun of someone's physical characteristics, and that certain someone is only genetically 1/16 or 1/32 (possibly less) a member of a given race and shows no physical characteristics associated with said race, how can that possibly be a racial slur?
In 2015 I read "The Communist" by Paul Kengor. It had some shocking details but the most surprising revelation for me was that Valerie Jarrett identified as black. I knew of her for at least seven years and I had no idea she had any genetic link to the Nilotes or the Bantus or the Cushites. It was kind of like Elizabeth Warren identifying as Native American. Can't judge a book by its cover, huh?
I call your attention to our Public Broadcasting System. Valerie Jarrett appeared on a show called "Finding Your Roots." Presented as lighthearted entertainment, it is neither. The Left is always hyper-political and Uber-Leftists like Gates and Jarrett, even more so. Forget the hokey "I am in so much suspense" nonsense. She appeared on this silly ass deceptive show to establish her blackness. She would not have bothered to appear had she not felt the need to do so.

Why would Valerie Jarrett pass herself off as African-American? Probably for the same reason Rachel Dolezal did. Like Elizabeth Warren, she has profited from her dubious minority status. And she will forever be able to play the race card against anyone who might accuse her of something egregious, like espionage for instance.
In summary, Barr might be miscast as Joan of Arc. Roseanne and Kanye will be fair weather friends at best. They can fight their own battles.
But do take heed! The race card is now the ONLY card in the Democrat deck and they will play it against anyone and everyone who disagrees with them.With apologies to the late Senator who meant well, racism is the new McCarthyism.
Maybe it was always thus. Maybe the news media and the news were always Clark Kent and Superman but they at least wore glasses and pretended to be separate and distinct characters.
Maybe the Cronkites and the Bradlees and the Sulzbergers were not essentially different from their descendants, but they at least pretended to be reporters. Maybe they were just a little more suave, a little more subtle, a little more sophisticated. None of them ever proclaimed, "I am Kal-El and I come from the planet Krypton!" Maybe they were just good at keeping secrets to themselves.
Can we pinpoint when the News became the news? I cannot do so but I can tell you it was a fairly recent phenomenon. If I were pressed to give an immediate answer I would say that holes appeared in the dike during the Reagan Administration and the dam broke in 2008. At any rate, the dam did break and the fourth estate flooded all those other estates as well.

But this time the media wasn’t just manufacturing a messaging consensus through its echo chamber. Instead it was directly involved in a conspiracy that eavesdropped on the political opposition and that is attempting to overturn the results of the 2016 election using not only dirty tricks, but the government.
Media smears are nothing new. Media coups are a whole other thing.
James Clapper, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, allegedly coordinated with CNN. And then took a job at CNN. Clapper isn’t alone. Obama’s CIA boss, John Brennan, is over at NBC News. Josh Campbell, Comey's assistant, is at CNN. The three arms of the Deep State offer interchangeable employment. Much as Fusion GPS was paying the wifeof a top DOJ official to investigate Trump.
This is what organizational integration looks like. And that’s what a Deep State looks like.
CIA or CNN? Who can tell the difference?
The investigation of the investigation has made it very clear that top CIA and FBI people were coordinating with the media. When CNN knows what’s going on at the FBI, that’s a leak. But when the FBI knows what’s going on at CNN, that’s close coordination.
Spygate depended on close coordination between Clinton’s people, the media and Obama’s intel folks. But it was the media that lubricated the alliance of the Democrat Deep State behind the coup.

Usual caveats. A a lot can happen between now and November. The GOP has blown slam dunks before. Your mileage may vary.
With the fine print out of the way, I filed the blue wave reports in the drawer with Nate Silver's election night predictions. And as Spygate unravels, Independents, some Democrats and possibly even one or two Never-Trumpers will sour on the Democrat Party. A growing number of voters are disgusted with the Obama/Clinton Crime Cartel and the Dems are not trying to win them over.
Not that the Dems have a rightful claim to the moral high ground but they always recognized its advantages and by fraud or foolishness they would play a mean game of King of The Hill. Usually, it was about the children. The women. The poor. Not that they cared about members of these groups but they always expressed their unending concern for them anyway. The Dems seemed to understand that their moral superiority was NOT self-evident to everyone and they pressed on tirelessly with their conspicuous compassion.
Today's Democrat sees no need to wrestle for moral superiority. Their virtue is axiomatic. It is so obvious and so unending, there is no need to sell its existence to a larger audience. With each skin of the onion, with each display of corruption,with each revelation of Obama spying, the Dems never see the need for damage control.
Yes, there are distractions like porn stars and Robert Mueller and the umbrage that comes from a brash man calling gangsters animals. Yes, these are attacks on Trump to establish the moral upper hand but it is all negative. More limbo than pole vault. Not even an effort to say, "We are so wonderful."
Clapper is a serial perjurer, so ask CNN to hire him as a blather boy. If Comey is a crooked cop, make sure he lands an ethical leadership gig and gets plenty of airtime for his silly ass book. If John Brennan is a Commy thug who abused his powers in a big, big way, who cares? These guys are overdue for the landfill and the Democrats put them on their coffee table. Don't mind the smell.
When Richard Nixon's White House was caught in acts of wrongdoing that were trivial by comparison to the crimes of the Obama Administration, the GOP did not circle the wagons for their miscreants. They recognized that Attorney General John Mitchell was a crook and they allowed him to be treated as such. On the Senate floor, Republican Howard Baker famously asked, "What did the president know and when did he know it?" When it had become obvious that the president had lied to the citizenry, Senator Barry Goldwater privately asked him to resign.
One could make the cynical case that the actions of Watergate-era GOP were motivated by political calculations and not displays of moral clarity. Point taken. To that one could counter that The Republicans had the good sense to distance themselves from bad actors. Take out the trash, move on and six years later Ronald Reagan would be on his way to the White House. Whatever the motive, the Republicans never conceded the moral high ground.
I used to think the Dems would always have an advantage because they were, on average, smarter than Republicnas. That changed. Not sure when it changed, but change it did. Unless and until the Dems distance themselves from thugs and thuggery, there will be no blue wave.
