Repost From May 17, 2025: In Defense of James Comey, The King Of Scumbags

James Comey is a rotten human being and perhaps the best poster child for dirty cop disease, but I am of the strong opinion that he should be given a pass on the "86 47" post.

Had he posted "187 47," I might have seen this differently. "187" is a specific code for homicide used by many police agencies.  I know of no other common use for this number.

"86" is a more flexible number. Its origin is imprecise, but it is at least a century old and probably stems from the hospitality industry. Anyone who has worked in a restaurant is familiar with the term. "Eighty-six shrimp cocktails" means the house has run out of boiled shrimp. Usually, "86" refers to something already depleted, but yes, it can be used to suggest that an item be temporarily discontinued. The wilted lettuce might prompt a "should we eighty-six the garden salad?" query. Taverns and casinos have generalized the term to reference persona non grata customers.

One can advocate for Donald Trump's removal without suborning homicide. Impeachment might be one such lawful maneuver. And one can legally make the case that Trump is a pariah, and could be expressed as "86 47". The numerical sequence might also reference a time after Trump departs from office in 2029. "86 47."  Comey did not specifically reference homicide. Thus, leave James Comey alone!

I don't mind defending scumbags, but Comey makes this a nauseating task. I would much rather defend Diddy or Ghislaine, or Osama Bin Laden. Comey is just too too too fake suave. Look what James found while walking the beach in a moment of quiet reflection! The deep and earnest reflector reflected once more on his ponderous and reflective, and yes, reflective insights that he once more shared with humanity, however undeserving the naked apes might be. Thanks for the insightful reflections and reflective insights, you deep and ponderous and insightful and reflective giant piece of shit.

Don't Be Surprised If The Maxwell Trial Gets Hijacked

What is better than a good defense attorney in your corner? How about a good defense attorney AND the rival prosecutor in your corner?

I don't know a lot about Maureen Comey, but I can tell you that she should have recused herself from the Ghislaine Maxwell trial. The fact that she did not step aside says much about her corrupted and corruptible character.

James Comey, Maureen's ethically bankrupt father brought a truckload of conflicted interests to the Hillary Clinton secret server  investigation. . I don't want to recite the laundry list of unpunished Comey Crimes but if you need a refresher go hither and yon. Oh, and don't forget that Maureen's uncle, Peter Comey, also has a longstanding financial relationship with the mighty, mighty Clintons.

Maureen Comey happened to be on the prosecutorial team that was to (what is the verb I am looking for? Prosecution by a compromised party in what probably would have been a parody of justice?) the Jeffrey Epstein case, should he have survived his "suicide" attempt. No, Maureen might not have blood on her hands but I for one hold a bias against cumulative coincidence.

Both the defendant and the prosecution's family maintain long relationships with the Clinton Family and the judge allows for this breach of ethics? I think we know how this one ends, folks.

That Was The Week That Was

WOW!

A glorious week!

Delivering peace to the Korean Peninsula is the medical equivalent of an 89 cent cancer cure with free home delivery (Sorry if the pill is bitter.)

Trump's critics can downplay this achievement all they like but none of their darlings will ever match this glorious event.

If you want to continue to smear Donald Trump you must also take that fight to the history books.

If, heaven forbid, the Trump presidency should end abruptly, DJT would be remembered as one of the most profound and significant historical figures America ever produced. Has it really just been 500 days?

Peace for Korea? That was Tuesday. That might be enough for most weeks, most months, most years, most decades but this glorious week was not half over. On the president's birthday, the long-awaited Inspector General report was finally released. To those of you who are discouraged by its contents and those of you who scream, "White wash," fear not.

Yes, the OIG report was whitewashed but fear not. POTUS can release the unredacted version and expose the white washers [RR] in the process. And he will, btw. Meantime, the OIG reveals a boatload of corruption at the FBI.

We should take a moment to honor Inspector General Michael Horowitz, This guy delivered the goods as his arm was being twisted in a million different directions. The already oft-quoted summary that Comey did not show political bias needs some clarification. Comey did not explicitly express political favoritism (unlike several of his idiot subordinates) and Horowitz dutifully reported the absence of expressed bias.

Horowitz stayed in his lane and did his job. He is not a prosecutor. Unlike an Inspector General, a skilled prosecutor can build a case for motive based on a perpetrator's ACTIONS. And yes, Horowitz, et al, have provided the foundation for further legal action.

A glorious week. To all you Trump-haters, please take a timeout to reflect on the good fortunes of the Korean people. Show some joy for the survivors of mass starvation. Share some bliss for the millions who might now see a dentist for the first time in their lives. Show some love for the tens of millions of Asians and Americans who are now much safer from nuclear annihilation. If you have any heart left, any human capacity for joy, any feeling at all that is not venomous, please view the silver lining in your darkened skies.

A glorious week.

Reading Into Comey's "Is That It?" Tweet

Was that a slip of the twongue? Nunes only revealed a conspiracy to sabotage a free election as well as a conspiracy to commit espionage, and possibly a conspiracy to commit sedition. Some pundits even accuse you and your organized crime cartel of treason.

Oh that? Who hasn't picked up a parking ticket along the way?

In other words, they didn't find the bodies. Commodore Nunes alertly spotted the iceberg. Give the Eagle Scout some credit for his keen observations but chuckle at the damn fool who has missed all that lurks beneath the surface. (Insert sound of weasels laughing here.)

We are told that more such memos will follow. Let us hope, Director Comey, that the Leavenworth administrators will allow you to teach your ethical leadership class via Skype.

The Nunes memo was much like a high profile murder case in which everyone knows the suspect is guilty. The guilty verdict is read and we are not even slightly surprised at the results. We already knew what the jury has confirmed.

The difference between the real life murder case and real life is that in the former we don't have to worry about the court reporter rewriting the transcripts, the judge flashing gang signs to the defendants, the bailiffs opening fire on the jurors, or the prosecutors savaged by a sneak of weasels as they exit the courtroom. For that matter, the high profile murder prosecutor probably does not worry about being gunned down at baseball practice or colliding with a garbage truck as he merrily rides an Amtrak.

We are just getting started. I will hereby go way out on a limb and predict that Jimmy the Weasel will never again tweet "Is that it?" Wanna bet?

Down Memory Lane: Comey Covers For Clinton On Kremlin Collusion

If we had someone other than Lindsey Graham to follow up on this question...What do you mean you don't want to say, Mr. Crooked Cop!

Rod Rosenstein Needs To Fire Mueller And Dissolve The "Special Counsel" Immediately

This is Rod Rosenstein's moment to prove that he a not a shill for the deep state ruling class. This is the Deputy Attorney General's chance at redemption. He can say that yes, I knew Comey had to go but I underestimated the extent of his duplicity. Yes, I was duped by Comey's manipulations of the press but now I will admit that error and I hereby correct it.

There is zero evidence that Trump "colluded" with the Russians. The only smoke we see emanates from the mouth of that interminable windbag named Mark Warner. Nor is there a scintilla of evidence that the Russians "hacked" anything. Not the DNC server. Certainly not any vote tallies in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania or anywhere else in the USA. And there is no evidence the Russians hacked John Podesta's email either.

In the absence of evidence or anything that resemble probable cause, there is zero justification for a special prosecutor. Are you a shill of the Washington Establishment, Mr. Rosenstein? Yes, you were fooled by the news media and high-ranking government officials but so were a lot of honest people. We like to believe there are limits to their treachery, but these nefarious forces have no limiting factor to curb their deceit. Face the facts.

Time to correct your mistake, Mr. Rosenstein.

Does The Peter Principle Best Explain The Career Of James Comey?

James Comey resembles one of those giant inflatable characters in the Macy's Parade. Yes, he might look menacing until we remind ourselves that he is just a bag of helium. He can only harm you if he falls on you and that will only happen if the hired hands stop paying attention to the guidewires and...OOPS! Look out, Attorney Lynch! He is falling in your direction!

The Peter Principle might shed some light on the subject. Director of the FBI is a grown up job. I don't know if the position has ever been handled well but there have been directors who were not as overwhelmed as was James Comey. In Comey, President Obama saw a kindred spirit who also overestimated his own skill set, his own intellect, and his own abilities. Just add time and Laurence J. Peter and Raymond Hull are prophetic once more.

We live in strange times in part because we don't have familiar idioms to guide us. Mythology, folklore, religion, the classics--and ultimately pop culture which usually borrows heavily from these influences--do not have anything like Donald Trump on their shelves. Do you remember a western where the guy from back East arrives in a gold-plated stagecoach wearing a fancy suit and proceeds to kick some cowboy butt so that he can lock horns with the henchmen of Madam Espionage? I can't seem to find that movie on Netflix.

James Comey is indeed a villain but like Donald Trump, he seems to break a few molds. If we were to cast Comey in a popular Hollywood vehicle, how would we do so?

Batman vs. The Leaker?

Batman vs. The Fizzler?

Batman vs. Professor Comeytose?

Batman vs. The Literary Pretender?

Batman vs. Nervous Stomach?

Batman vs. The Book Deal?

Batman vs. The Whiny Bitch?

Batman vs. Dr. Nobody?

Batman vs. Humpty Dumpty?

Batman vs. The Bad Lawyer?

Perhaps we should consider a remake of "Bambi Meets Godzilla" where doe-eyed James Comey is cast in the lead role as Bambi. Godzilla would be played not by Donald Trump or a blathering John McCain or the ever-formidable Susan Collins. No, for the role of Godzilla, we should cast the spirit of The Peter Principle (I hear he is available and will probably not demand residuals.) I can smell the popcorn.

He Broke Me

Why Did The President Fire Comey? How Many Reasons Do You Need?

Was it because Comey is a weasel?

Or is it because he is a snake?

Or is because, in the words of H. A. Goodman, Comey is a fawn?

Apologies to the distinguished members of the animal kingdom for my heartless comparisons. Comey is a leaker. Comey is duplicitous. He may or may not be a perjurer but if he is honest, he is honest in a dishonest kind of way. Comey is a master of lying through omission.

Comey is a dirty cop. Comey is a corrupt cop. Possibly worse, Comey is highly incompetent. Ask the victims of IRS abuse or the survivors of the Boston Marathon about Comey's reign of error.

Impeachable offenses? The only one I can think of is that Trump did not fire Comey on Inauguration Day. I am willing to overlook the president's recovered error. Whatever else might be said about President Trump's legacy, he removed a tumor. Thank you, Mr. President.

My Account Of The Comey Hearings From The Obstructed View Seats

I know the news media and the Lefties (please excuse the redundancy) were salivating over this morning's Comey hearings. This is what I expected:

1. A surprise or two from James Comey. Whatever else can be said about James Comey, he is full of surprises.

2. Verbal acrobatics from James Comey. This guy is a shyster's shyster. When a distiction can be made between negligence and carelessness, Comey will be on hand to make that distinction.

3. A lame performance from GOP Senators.

4. The Democrats, knowing they have plenty of nothing, would strategically play for the sound bite.

The previous evening I had seen an H. A. Goodman video that stated the Dems would try to use the Comey hearings to snowball an impeachment effort. Goodman is usually on target so I figured he knew of something that could be construed or misconstrued as a bombshell.

I was planning on deliberately sleeping in late so as to miss the festivities but I woke up early with a splitting headache. I got out of bed but never did turn on the TV. I checked my phone from time to time for news alerts. If a bombshell had been ignited, AOL/Huffington Post would be all over it. Nada.

I called The Realtor and he seemed disgusted. According to him, The Dem Senators were aggressive and the GOP Senators were timid. It was a dismal day for all of us. I tried to focus my attention on other matters.

Around 2:15 I left in my Kia and got Fox Business News on the satellite radio. The Trish Regan crew were giddy but I wasn't sure why. They cut into Trump's lawyer making his public statement. Wow! Not what I was expecting. Back to Trish Regan and her happy as schoolgirls panel.

I don't remember what Limbaugh said but he was not depressed over the hearings. I switched over to Jeff Kuhner to sample the mood and he played the theme from "Titanic" in honor of James Comey. Could it have really been that disastrous?

A few minutes with Howie Carr. Understand, Howie can always find humor in the moment. Whether it is a knife fight that erupts at a baby shower or a pit bull mulling, Howie is quick with a chuckle that warms the heart of the listener. Howie seemed much more annoyed than usual. Like me, Howie seems repulsed by James Comey. As if the only good thing we can say about him is that he is finally gone. The mondo radio host who runs a death pool and reads police blotter accounts of bestiality on the air had finally found something that disgusted him. I shared Howie's disgust.

I could not watch that slimy James Comey today. Maybe I will fish for a few highlights on Youtube. I am sure the spinmeisters will salvage something from the loyalty pledge. But maybe, just maybe, James Comey will fade away. Let's hope so.

Brace Yourself For Crooked Cop Comey's Testimony

And also prepare yourself for a lame resistance on behalf of Republicans.

James Comey is a damn good lawyer. Crooked as hell but a good lawyer nonetheless. This is the man who made broad distinctions between negligence and carelessness, two Siamese Twin synonyms. We might respect such parsing of words from a Clarence Darrow, but from a public official who is supposedly fair, impartial and unbiased, it presents a strong case for compromise if not corruption. Obstruction of justice certainly occurred during Comey's reign of terror. The question remains as to whether or not Comey's obstruction of justice rises to a level of criminality.

One myth that needs to be forever shattered is James Comey's Boy Scout image. His financial links to the Clintons are well-established.

Report: Comey’s Brother Works for the Law Firm That Handles Clinton Foundation’s Taxes

Ousted FBI Director James Comey’s ties to the Clinton Foundation and the conflicts of interest that lie there are too close to not raise red flags.

In most places, in most eras, this story would stake its claim on Page 1 and stay there until a Goliath of a news item pushed it off the hill. But this particular story reflects negatively on the Clintons, James Comey, Obama, the DNC and ultimately their silent partners in the news media. Oh and by the way, it does not fit the "Putin Stole The Election From Hillary" narrative. Insert no smoking gun but a lot of smoke cliche here.

It doesn't stop with the brother:

How much money did James Comey make from Lockheed Martin in his last year with the company, which he left in 2010? More than $6 million in compensation

Lockheed Martin is a Clinton Foundation donor. The company admitted to becoming a Clinton Global Initiative member in 2010.

According to records, Lockheed Martin is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, which paid Bill Clinton $250,000 to deliver a speech in 2010

In 2010, Lockheed Martin won 17 approvals for private contracts from the Hillary Clinton State Department.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Snopes

The story implied that James Comey’s once having worked for organizations that were donors or had partnered with the Clinton Foundation in some capacity was proof enough that he was biased in favor of Hillary Clinton when his bureau investigated her for her mishandling of sensitive information, and it alleged a conflict of interest due to his brother’s employment in a large law firm that audited the Clinton Foundation. But the evidence offered in support of those charges was nothing more than extremely questionable supposition based on a weak form of guilt by association — all based not on any actual investigation, but on simply collating information deftly “hidden” by the alleged conspirators in online news stories and the Clinton Foundation’s own web site.

Excuse me Snopes, but I thought your specialty was fact-checking, not judgment as to the legitimacy of activities exposed by bare bone facts. There is much more than "guilt by association." To paraphrase Everydem and Everypundit, "there is smoke." In this particular case, there is also fire and a hell of a lot of it. There is a boatload of evidence to suggest a quid pro quo relationship between the Clintons and Comeys was an ongoing event.

I was glad to see the king of the swamp rats get canned. Now go, Comey! Please, go! Go somewhere and count your money, you dirty cop!

Would James Comey Lie?

In his final congressional testimony before he was fired by President Trump this month, then-FBI Director James Comey unequivocally told lawmakers his agency used sensitive espionage data gathered about Americans without a warrant only when it was “lawfully collected, carefully overseen and checked.”

Once-top secret U.S. intelligence community memos reviewed by Circa tell a different story, citing instances of “disregard” for rules, inadequate training and “deficient” oversight and even one case of deliberately sharing spy data with a forbidden party.

I read the Wikipedia entry for Circa News but I am still confused as to who they are. Amazing that they do more actual reporting than most news organizations, including Fox News.

Is Comey Directly Tweeting Putin?

The suggestions were algorithmically selected based on the account I requested to follow, a significant number of which bore the last name “Comey” (Patrice is his wife). Among the various Comeys, only two of the suggested accounts lacked both real names and profile photos. And only one of these had anywhere near the “nine followers” that James Comey claimed to have. That account was reinholdniebuhr.

James Comey Is A Clinton Surrogate

In the hectic 2016 election, James Comey faded in and out of focus. I have to admit, he has fallen off my radar since November 8.

The FBI Director's behavior is, to be polite, erratic. But why be polite? On Twitter last Fall, I repeatedly called the director a dirty cop. That position has been reinforced over time.

Breitbart did a blockbuster expose on Mr. Corruption last September that I only recently discovered. I apologize for my oversight.

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/09/10/exposed-fbi-director-james-comeys-clinton-foundation-connection/

The above link reveals an ongoing, lucrative relationship between the Comeys and the Clintons. I knew about HSBC but what that one encounter could be called incidental. I did not know about Lockheed Martin, Peter Comey or the large chunks of change passed back in forth between the families. We are talking big bucks here, folks.

To compound the suspicion of corruption, it seems that Comey has tried to intimidate the muckrakers at Breitbart.

Russia? Soros? Slim? The Saudis? Wiretapping? All these things need to take a backseat to the investigation of James Comey and his relationship to the Clintons.

If Hillary Is Not Indicted BEFORE The Election, The System Is Hopelessly Rigged

You can hear the pundits and the thugs and zombies whine about the timing of the arrest right before election day. Yes, but Clinton and her co-conspirators should have been indicted last July, if not sooner. We recently learned that the FBI had Abedin's loaded laptop for three weeks. Why did they not immediately kick start the wheels of justice? Clearly, the FBI wanted to help Hillary run out the clock.

Clinton should have been indicted in July, if not sooner. She certainly should have been indicted before the Democrat convention. Nonetheless, there has been ample time to correct a grievous series of wrongs. Once more, Crooked Comey aided and abetted in the cover-up. If he can get Hillary elected, Obama can pardon her and America is safe for plutocracy.

Are you as corrupt as you look, Director Comey? The next few days will tell.

More Than A Grain Of Salt: Ed Klein Tries To Explain Comey's Motives (I say He's Crooked)

  • James Comey revived the investigation of Clinton's email server as he could no longer resist mounting pressure by mutinous agents, sources say
  •  The atmosphere at the FBI has been toxic ever since Jim announced last July that he wouldn't recommend an indictment against Hillary
  •  He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents
  • Comes was also worried that Republicans would accuse him of granting Hillary political favoritism after the presidential election
  •  When new emails allegedly linked to Hillary's personal server turned up in  Abedin and Anthony Weiner's computer, Comey jumped at the excuse

  • Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3886942/Resignation-letters-piling-disaffected-FBI-agents-wife-urging-admit-wrong-Director-Comey-jumped-chance-reopen-Hillary-investigation.html#ixzz4OiQZfddS

Conspiracy Warehouse Election Sale: Free Delivery! No Limit Per Customer!

Wow! Whatever else might be said about the FBI's decision to reopen Hillary's email investigation, it has done nothing to restore the integrity, the reputation or the public's confidence in a once-respected institution.

Everyone is advancing their own off the cuff motives.

Hillarycrats once more spot that vast right wing conspiracy. Insert canned verbiage here.

More traditional Democrats see something similar. They could have had Biden if Comey had not closed the original investigation a few weeks before the DNC convention.

The Sanders people echo the complaints of the mainstream Dems: We could have made America Venezuela if Comey had advocated indictment in July.

My go to Wikileaks editor, H. A. Goodman, says this is Obama's payback for Hillary's perceived racism in the 2008. Don't know how the 3 AM phone call ad or an undoctored photo of Barry in African garb is racism but as we know, racism is the new McCarthyism. There's a racist hiding behind every Trump sign.

At the other end of the spectrum, John the Realtor warns that we should "watch the other hand." This is a diversionary tactic of some kind.

John is not the only one voicing this warning. Believers in a rigged system simply do not buy the idea that James Comey suddenly found his conscience 11 days before the election. Speculation ensues...FBI mutiny...Comey saw Trump's internal polls and thought he might be indicted for obstruction of justice after Trump took office...It's a diversion from Wikileaks...It's a ploy to ultimately cast Hillary as a martyr.

I would love to hear the input of Edward Klein or Monica Crowley who both like to explain things in Clinton vs. Obama terms. Maybe the president saw internal polls that showed Hillary in trouble and wanted to cut his losses. His action and inaction has once more generated universal suspicion.

Does anyone, anywhere believe this is how an investigation should proceed? As one who recognizes the habitual criminality of one Hillary Rodham Clinton, I am of the strong belief that late is preferable to never. But if Comey thinks he can restore his reputation, the FBI's reputation, the DOJ's reputation. as well as the reputation of the whole system--yes, the whole rigged system--I say he is woefully mistaken. Too little, too late.

Yet Another Sanders Supporter Registers Disgust With Comey-Clinton

SHE WILL PROBABLY MAKE THE MARXIST HER RUNNING MATE AND THEN WE WILL HEAR WHAT A GREAT MAN COMEY HAPPENS TO BE
