Like global warming, the JFK assassination is not "settled." A consensus of journalists does not determine truth any more than does a consensus of prostituted scientists.
This is a subject I will revisit from time to time. My belief is that we will see a "grand unified theory" that will challenge and displace the "lone nut employed at strategic site followed by another lone nut with ties to organized crime who just happens to roam the hallways of The Dallas Police Department and who assists the prosecutor in fielding questions" explanation. Very interesting! I remember when Billy Sol Estes was in the middle of a huge scandal. In those days the government bought up farm commodities t as part of its price support program. Naturally the government owned huge quantities of wheat, corn, soybeans, etc. It couldn't sell them without driving down prices so all it could do was store them. Estes had a contract to store, I think it was soybean, which he took the money for but then he sold the beans.
Then the was HL Hunt and he was quite a character with his Life Line radio show broadcast from Fort Worth. Just so many really unforgettable characters! Great post
