Glenn Beck At CPAC

I could have done without the Willy Wonka references but maybe I am not the target demo. The first 9:45 is optional.

BECK AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME

I started listening, as recommended, at the 9:45 mark--and bailed out at around the 11 minute mark...
I felt as though I knew where he was going with his sermon, and started feeling like I was going to puke...

So you were lukewarm about Beck's performance?

I can't remark on the content of his speech--I had unbelievable difficulty listening to him at all...
It was like listening to a severely deranged TV evangelist...
Back in the day, I used to like him. It seems now that he's gone completely mad...
Did he say anything worthwhile?
As I said, I couldn't stomach the "performance"....

What I found most interesting is his saying that the most valuable commodity in the world is not gold or oil, it is the fruit of human labor. Those are the spoils that despots and thugs and tyrants are in constant struggle to control and plunder.
