The House Oversight Committee has learned that Lois Lerner conducted IRS business through her personal email account. In a letter to Lerner Darrell Issa and his colleague, Ohio congressman Jim Jordan wrote; “This raises some serious questions concerning your use of a non-official e-mail account to conduct official business,” adding “Additional documents related to the Committee’s investigation may exist in these non-official accounts over which you have some control, and the lack of access to this information prevents the Committee from fully assessing your actions."
Lerner really should have run this by Ed Snowden before she started her off the record correspondence. He could have fixed her up with a secure email account where the dedicated operator would have shut down his business to protect her privacy. I wonder if Lerner ever met Richard Windsor.
