Obama looks a lot like Satan
or Satan looks a lot like him.
It's not the way I had him pictured
Satan was a way too thin.
This is an old story but when I heard Roma Downey telling Oprah all about how awkward this has been for her I decided to revisit it. Mark Burnett and his wife Roma Downey, producers of the History Channel's hit mini series The Bible are connected; well enough connected to get invitations to the White House. Imagine their shock when Glen Beck tweeted, "Anyone else think the Devil in #The Bible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?
"They do look a lot alike, you got to admit that", opined CNN's Wolf Blitzer.
After that the History felt compelled to offer an apology.
"History channel has the highest respect for President Obama. The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It's unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History's The Bible is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history."
Burnett and Downey have thrown quite a tantrum over the controversy too but no one at the White House has mentioned it. It's a good thing Phelim McAleer wasn't the producer.
