Reid, Pelosi and Obama Soak Fat Cat Amputees!

The Democrats are finally going to make the more fortunate pay their fair share.

Under the magnum opus of compassion that will forever be known as Obamacare, the paragons of privelege will be assessed a two per cent tax of their fancy new limbs. I know two per cent is a pittance but it can grow. It can grow, fellow progressives! Social justice will prevail!

Why did our leaders decide on 2 per cent? For now, that is all the pillars of compassion can squeeze from these latter day robber barons. And remember that 2 per cent is precisely the sum that ever-deserving Service Employees International Union extracts from each of its members' paychecks. As the benevolent SEIU expands its share of government employee/government vendor market base, our leaders will continue to search and seek new revenue streams for the implementation of economic justice.

Remember the words of our most charitable leader, Speaker Pelosi: "We have to pass the health care bill so we can find out what's in it." To paraphrase Meatloaf, "Who knew there was a Coupe De Ville hiding in the bottom of a Cracker Jack box?"

I think it is a mistake that Sarah Palin joined Fox News but if she pushes that idiot Hannity off the network, I will be pleased. Why is Hannity struck with political correctness all of a sudden? For the uninformed, Hannity is bashing Harry Reid for his referring to Obama as "light-skinned" African American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one."

Reid might have worded things in a non-pc way, but who can refute the substance of his verbiage? The Obama campaign skilfully exploited their candidate's skin tone to win the White House. When he needed to be black, he was black. When he needed to be white, images of his mother and grandmother filled the screen. This was the playing of race card by virtuosos. Had Obama been white or had he been significantly more African looking, he probably would not be president. Body type matters. And that's the truth.

I would not say "no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one" but I have commented that Obama slides into street dialect when it is favorable to do so. "Negro" is not the N-word of choice for most racists. Like "colored" it identifies the user not as a racist but as a geezer. Harry Reid sees talking movies as a fad. Cut him some slack.

We walk away from this episode with three lessons. 1. Political correctness is stupid. 2. We must choose our battles carefully. 3. Hannity is an idiot.
