Tuffy The Clown Redux? Nebraska Parade Float Featuring Obama Library Outhouse Deemed Racist

The Nebraska Democratic Party responded by describing the float as among the “worst shows of racism and disrespect for the office of the presidency that Nebraska has ever seen.”

What makes the controversy even more ludicrous is that the creator of the float, a local farmer, said the zombie wasn’t even supposed to represent Obama, but instead was a depiction of a victim of the recent VA health care scandal.

Where Are They Now? Tuffy The Rodeo Clown

Tuffy said he was excited to be a part of the Sutherland rodeo. He’s had a slim year for bookings since getting banned from the Professional Rodeo Clown Association in August 2013 for a performance at the Missouri State Fair.

One of his skits involves a “live puppet” wearing a mask of the United States president — he learned it from his mentor — but using a mask of Barack Obama didn’t sit well with the public and officials.
