If We Must Shower Sympathy On Sanders' Supporters, Pity Their Excess Stupidity

I am so, so sick of the "Poor Bernie Supporter" meme. Equally nauseating is the "The Election Was Stolen From Sanders" pabulum.


If we are to shed tears for Sanders' supporters,  weep for their unbridled idiocy.

Hey Sandboy, are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for a babbling fool who mourns for the loss of the Soviet Union?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for a senile pied piper who conquered your heart by rehashing roughly a dozen meaningless slogans?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for a geezer who recycles the vanguard of exactly one century ago and calls it Progressivism?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for the empty verbiage of an idiot who has no idea how the world works?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for someone who has served in Washington for longer than many of you have been alive, running as an OUTSIDER!? Better yet, running as a challenge to the status quo? This fraud could be the poster child of the status quo. Are we supposed to feel sorry because you fell for his flimflam?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for a six -figure socialist who rails against income inequality?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you fell for a green warrior who jet sets all over the country to raise funds?

OK, we all do stupid things, this writer included. If we look past your infatuation with a sloganeering con artist and all of his empty verbiage, is there a point where you stop short of adopting conscious stupidity as a preferred lifestyle? Is there a point where your conspicuous trendiness takes a back seat to common sense? No?

OK then, you want to feel the Bern (am I the only one grossed out at the imagery of feeling up this weirdo?) How do you go about doing whatever it is you want to do?

Are you so stupid as to not know of the Dems' Super-Delegate system? Are you so stupid as to not know that you sat down to play cards with a stacked deck? Are we supposed to feel sorry for you?

Are we supposed to feel sorry you because you did not notice that the Obama Administration in the form of Lois Lerner, a weaponized bureaucracy and massive voter fraud has committed itself to ABOLISHING honest elections? Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you too, got screwed by the Democrat establishment? Couldn't see that one coming, could we Poindexter?

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you because you are so retchingly stupid as to fail to notice that the mainstream media has conspired with the Democrat establishment to promote their welfare and that they have done so every day for decades? Boo Hoo.


The tragedy is not that the Sanders dupes were treated worse than anyone else who has opposed the Democrat establishment. If anything, they were treated much better. The tragedy is that a large segment of America has fallen for yet another empty suit spewing empty promises that he could never deliver under any circumstances.

 If we are to shed tears, let us all shed a drop for the deliberate stupification of America. We all suffer from its tragic effects.
