I am glad to see experts get it wrong. I have had my doubts about these guys' expertise and I doubt some of their stories as well. They hedge their bets a bit but they certainly believe the polls and they certainly missed the wave.
I love the point that many of the Democratic candidates are legacy politicians. The powerful family brands! Those two, like the Democratic Party, think nepotism is a virtue. Obviously aside from Brown, Cuomo and Tom Udall the electorate was not thrilled with the retreads. How well did Mark Udall, Begich, Carter, Nunn, Grimes, Pryor and Landrieu do? The GOP may have done the Democrats a favor by purging their party of these people.
