West Lafayette, Indiana gets its new, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle

Finding itself in a the midst of a killing spree with 1 homicide in the last 13 years, West Lafayette, Indiana has upped the ante. It has acquired from the DOD what is officially called a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle which should put Purdue University students and any other undesirables with a mind toward anarchy on notice that the town will deal harshly with lawbreakers. Why not? The cost to the town, with a population of 29,525 is only $4,065. The vehicle belongs to the DOD which can take it back at anytime which it probably would immediately after the inauguration of a Rand Paul but in the meantime it serves as a menacing icon of the Obama police state.
