Donald's "Read My Lips" Moment

I  sometimes wish I was as simple-minded as our friends on the Left. Principles and values and such do not concern them. They goosestep behind their leaders and when they win an election, that's it for another four years. Dancing in the streets. Game over. There is never a sense of betrayal or buyer's remorse. Mindlessly following their leaders is all that concerns them. Happy sheep.

We win an election and we do not dance in the streets. We celebrate with a collective sigh and brace ourselves for the knife in the back. And it always gets us. Always.

It took Donald a while but he delivered the cold steel and it hurts. It hurts bad. Promises made. Promises kept. Ooooops. Read my lips.

This might be the beginning of the end of the Trump era. It might be the beginning of the end of a populist movement that we thought was so much bigger than Trump.

My last blog post was this AM when it looked like Trump was going to veto the porkfest. The Dow was up about a hundred points on the rumor that Trump was going to veto the damn bill. Had he done so, the market might have recovered the 700 or so points it had lost on Thursday. Instead, the president spit in our faces, signed the omnibus into law and the Dow surrendered 500 points, closing down 424 points on the day. Does anyone think the bleeding is over?

George H. W. Bush wrecked his political career with a broken "read my lips" promise. Will Trump fare better than that latter day Benedict Arnold? Should we even care?

Trump Giveth. Trump Taketh Away

For the politically connected, the entrenched bureaucracy, the deep state, the political class, the insiders, the swamp, the news media, this is the best week since the 2016 election.

For the rest of us, it is the worst week since Trump arrived on the scene. They just Made America Sightly Better Than Average Again.

Two bad things happened yesterday:

1. The stock market experienced one of its biggest losses in history.

2. Congress passed a bloated spending bill that is an unnatural disaster.

The two are related but there is more bad news that affects everything else. The Trump tariffs are in a word, bad. If the Donald is using deceptive taxes on American consumers (tariffs) including industrial consumers who use steel to create other jobs (as in our entire industrial base) as a bargaining chip (as I think he is doing) this will self-correct. If on the other hand, Trump is taking economic advice from the Dobbs, the Bannons and the Coulters, we are all in big trouble. The Trump Train will lose its steam. The fictional Blue Wave will sweep over all of us. Say hi to President Booker and Speaker Pelosi.

Let us hope the president sees the light on free trade. In the meantime we have a Dem/RINO coalition that passed a horrific spending bill. How much this contributed to a market crash and how much was the president's hubris, is impossible to determine. The details of the bill, toxic as they might be, will be discussed elsewhere. The size of the debt-compounding Omnibus was felt immediately by anyone who had hopes of retiring someday. It wrecked 401's as soon as it was unveiled.

Markets possess wisdom that the Ryans and McConnells  never seem to grasp. It looks grim but the sun just might just push aside the clouds after all. President Trump, front and center once more, has threatened to veto the demonic handiwork. Encouraging, but it is probably the details that bother the president, and not the homage to Obama-debt pork barrel destruction the Ryanistas have provided.

Poison is poison if it is promoted by Democrats or Republicans or Trumpsters or populists or cheerleaders. Impediments to free trade = poison. Fiscal recklessness = poison.

Once more, we have to decide if we are advocating for proper nouns, or we are advocating for principles.

Robert Mueller Is Not Worse Than You Imagine, He Is Worse Than You Can Imagine

Did Robert Mueller, the special counsel who is currently trying to frame President Donald Trump, take part in a much earlier FBI frame up that sent four innocent men to prison for more than 30 years, and resulted in an eventual settlement of more than $100 million for false imprisonment?
The answer appears to be yes. This is not Mueller’s first frame up.

Another prominent Bostonian, Harvery Silverglate, has another endearing tale about Robert Mueller.

Silverglate describes an effort by Mueller to entrap him on a perjury charge with no just cause.

He also recounts a second glorious meeting with Robert Mueller involving the high profile case of Dr. Jeffrey R. MacDonald in which Mueller would not discuss or consider FBI misconduct.

And superstar journalist, Sara Carter, has connected a few dots that were not that hard to connect.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller III and Whitey Bulger

James ‘Whitey’ Bulger:  a notorious gangster and murderer from Boston, who was also a long time confidential informant of the FBI.

During the 1980s, Mueller served as an assistant US attorney and then as the acting US attorney in Boston. The FBI was under his supervision during the time Bulger was an informant.

Former FBI Special Agent John Connolly, who is now in prison for racketeering and murder-related charges, had been the handler for James ‘Whitey’ Bulger. He allegedly tipped off Bulger that one of his business associates was going to testify against him. Bulger had his associate murdered.

Bulger was a confidential informant for the FBI since 1975 and escaped arrest by the  FBI in the 90s after his FBI handler informed Bulger an arrest was imminent. He was on the run for 16 years and captured in 2011. Mueller was then director of the FBI.

In 1965 four men were convicted of a murder that the FBI later learned they did not commit. Three of the men faced death sentences.

The FBI had learned during the time Bulger was an informant that the men did not commit the murders. The men served decades in prison and two of them died in prison.

A jury trial revealed that the FBI had known the men were innocent but withheld the evidence from state law enforcement authorities.

In 2007, a jury awarded more than $101 million in damages to the surviving men and their families.
However, during the time the men were in prison Mueller wrote multiple letters to the parole and pardons board opposing clemency for the four men. Mueller never answered questions as to what he knew about the case or if he was aware of the men’s innocence, as reported extensively by Kevin Cullen, a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer with the Boston Globe.

In 2013, Bulger went on trial for 32 counts of racketeering, money laundering and extortion. He was also indicted on weapons charges and 19 counts of murder.
==========================================================================

Emphasis was added to the above because conspiring to obstruct evidence by knowingly keeping four innocent men is not just a boatload of felonies, it is about as evil as evil gets.

Carter might have her details wrong about Bulger and the 1965 wrongful conviction of four innocent men. One, I think the FBI knew from the onset that the four men were innocent.

Two, some of the principles get recycled but Whitey Bulger was not a significant underworld figure in 1965. He would later work/conspire with at least one FBI agent who knew of the wrongful conviction and later aided/abetted/served Bulger throughout his reign of terror. The agent in question being, H. Paul Rico.

Also, the motives for convicting and falsely imprisoning the four innocent men were the very worst of reasons. They were protecting a gangster who was the real killer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Despite the constancy of propaganda promoting our wondrous legal system, it is perhaps the rottenest of all our institutions. If Bob Mueller knowingly kept innocent people in prison to protect the bureau, there should be some sort of consequence. Statutes of limitation make convictions impossible but why has he been allowed to practice law or keep receiving his pension?

Mueller is a bad apple.

Facebook Scandal Showcases The Divide Between Who And Whom

So Cambridge Analytics used Facebook data to its advantage?

1. Should we remind ourselves that Facebook played in active role in helping Obama get re-elected in 2012 and that they have helped numerous Democrat candidates and that they tried but failed to get Hillary elected in 2016 and that Facebook has been one of the best weapons the Dems have ever had?

2. Or, should we remind ourselves that all Lefties are sandbox bullies and hypocrites and if we can't play with their stacked deck....WAAAAA! SAD FACE! TEARS! ANGER!

3. Or should we remind ourselves (and remind the hypocrites at the risk that they might unfriend us?) that the success of Facebook is dependent on its demographic targeting? Does anyone believe that FB's stock price rose 5-fold since its IPO because of all the dumbass memes that originate there? Just last week, even before Cambridge Analytica was page 1, my chiropractor demonstrated to me the efficacy of FB advertising on his business computer. For a reasonable price, he could target potential patients based on geography, other pertinent demographics, professed interests and ailments. So much better than Google Ads.
I have known quite a few business people who believe FACEBOOK IS ALL!  There are Facebook gurus all over YouTube. Facebook is successful because it allows realtors and chiropractors to do what Cambridge Analytics did in 2016. Without the tools of targeting, Facebook is AOL circa 1995.

Ex-Obama Campaign Director Drops Bombshell Claim on Facebook: 'They Were on Our Side'

A former Obama campaign official is claiming that Facebook knowingly allowed them to mine massive amounts of Facebook data — more than they would’ve allowed someone else to do — because they were supportive of the campaign.
In a Sunday tweet thread, Carol Davidsen, former director of integration and media analytics for Obama for America, said the 2012 campaign led Facebook to “suck out the whole social graph” and target potential voters. They would then use that data to do things like append their email lists.
What we already knew...

All the tech giants aided and abetted both Hillary and Obama as well as the Democratic Party: Google/YouTube, Twitter, Yahoo, Facebook...the list goes on and on. This article offers a brief summary of the ongoing assistance that was largely portrayed as Dem superior tech savvy, insight into human nature, and higher collective IQ. Of course, when Trump allies did something similar, data had been weaponized.

Hypocrisy can still shock us when all else fails.

Does Larry Sinclair Deserve As Much Attention As Stormy Daniels?

With MSM's wall to wall hype of an alleged affair long ago, it is perhaps time to remember a brave man who said "me too" (well actually he did not say that. It wasn't a bumper sticker back in 2008.)

Larry Sinclair had a story to tell and he told it. For that, he was thrown in jail on bogus charges and then stalked and harassed for years to come.

In the spirit of whatever high-minded principles the MSM are now promoting--and I have no idea what those high-minded principles happen to be but I know that Larry Sinclair could be the poster child for those principles--we give Larry Sinclair another chance to tell his story.

Remember when Larry Sinclair guested on Jimmy Kimmel? Remember Larry on GMA? Leno? Today Show? Fox News? It never happened.

Remember when a caller got through and mentioned Larry Sinclair on the Rush Limbaugh Show? I do. Limbaugh aborted the call immediately. It was captured on a YouTube vid that would be one of this blogs earliest posts. Unfortunately, the vid would also be terminated about as fast as the original caller.

Something very similar happened on Mark Levin's radio show. I forget the details of that one but it too was converted to a Youtube video that vanished quickly. Those two vids combined for one post here at POS. Both vanished.

But Larry Sinclair has not vanished. There is a vicious and intimidating Youtube vid that does not go away. It falsely and cruelly announces that Larry Sinclair has been Murdered. The vid probably does kill searches for Larry Sinclair on YouTube.

This video is a good starting point.

Here is the press conference it its entirety: Compare and contrast Sinclair's treatment with the treatment the gold-digging porn stars a decade later.

Please help these and other Sinclair vids go viral. Isn't it time Larry Sinclair had his story told?

More Media Corruption

Project Mockingbird Or Project Mockingbird?

People under the age of say, thirty, probably cannot grasp just how far and how hard the mainstream media fell since the rise of the Internet. They were the masters of the universe. Love them or hate them, we all feared them and to some degree, we respected them.

Rush Limbaugh credits himself with inventing the news media parrot montage. In the YouTube era, everyone is doing it. Who can deny the orchestration? The choreography? The scripting of subjects profound and of subjects frivolous?

NO WONDER THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH AN IDIOT POLITICIAN WHO MINDLESSLY READ FROM A TELEPROMPTER

Had Hillary Won...

Disclaimer: The dude in the video is probably an antisemite but nonetheless, he nails it on Hillary's inner circle.

Can you imagine Podesta and Weiner and Jay-Z and Marina in the White House? It almost happened.

I WISH HE WAS JOKING

Kim Dotcom Weighs In On The Difficulties Of Draining The Swamp

Another long vid but well worth viewing in its entirety,

Are We Finally Vetting Barack Obama?

This video is about 20 minutes long and I wish that videos of substance would find their way into a text format (you know, written word?) because it is easier to reference later.

At any rate, SpaceShot76 has started the umasking of Obama's benefactors. The dots are connecting.
