Sunday Hymn: Make America Great Again
This rendition has come under fire for secularizing Christianity. Of course, the Trump-haters will say that this is a veiled act of deification of the current president.
To someone who spent over eight years researching the deification of Barack Obama, I can say authoritatively that this hymn does not even come close to the overt religiosity that surrounded Barack Obama. In this case, the First Baptist Church of Dallas is not praying TO Donald Trump, as the Obots sometimes did. Also, they are not praising Donald Trump for his divine essence, as the Obots always did.
Yes, the songwriter stole a campaign slogan but who can argue with the core message. Who but Antifa and their allies do not want to make America great again? Is it wrong to pray for an American upgrade?

A Nice Start
The top prosecutor in the nation’s capital said the Justice Department has charged 150 people in cases related to acts of violence during protests that followed the death of George Floyd.
Acting U.S. Attorney for D.C. Michael Sherwin, picked by Attorney General William Barr in mid-May after a stint as deputy attorney general for national security, revealed the number on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show Thursday evening while providing an update on the Justice Department’s law enforcement efforts tied to the demonstrations over the past five weeks.
