A trickle of migrants have entered Russia – but the country has granted asylum to only two Syrians so far this year.

Putin is a leader, first and foremost. To understate things greatly, the West lacks leadership. Putin, despite his Communist Party background, is sympathetic to Orthodox Christianity and shows concern for all Christians. In my not even slightly humble opinion, Vladimir Putin is more deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize than Barack Obama or Al Gore or even Saint Yasser.

The Russian Army is crushing ISIS! We should be dancing in the streets. Instead, the faux Christian in the White House blathers on and Marco Rubio refuses to retract his slanderous statements about Putin and the Russian people. The John McCains show not even a shred of shame for supporting Syrian rebels who include members of Al Qedah and ISIS (Oh excuse me, White House, ISIL.) For all of Assad's flaws, he has a long history of protecting Christians. I will take him over ISIS/ISIL any day.

We need to rethink NATO. I for one, am sick of a morally, fiscally and yes, even a culturally bankrupt Europe badmouthing the US. Frankly, I think most of Europe would be better off with Russia's flat tax and respect for Christian values and culture. If Putin really wants the Has Been Continent, maybe we should let him have it.

In the meantime, Mother Russia fights for the oppressed people of Syria. May God bless Vladimir Putin

Guess we won't find out about the answer to that question. He seemed so presidential and the police went and killed him.

Multiple reports state that Mercer quizzed his victims on their religious beliefs prior to executing them.  

Got News says Mercer was a jihadist, Raw Story identifies him as a conservative republican, anti-religion zealot. Meanwhile Obama lets no tragedy go to waste. He smirks in front of the camera and tells tall stories about the relative safety of blue states. Par for the course.

Items From My Mailbox: Why The Walker Campaign Flopped

• The collapse of Scott Walker’s campaign.
  On Monday, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker dropped out of the presidential race. It wasn’t that long ago that Walker was considered one of the most formidable GOP candidates for the nomination. Back in February, in fact, he topped all of the Iowa polls. A governor who had survived a recall election, won three elections in four years (in a Blue State, no less!) and had defeated the public employee unions in his state, he seemed poised to be a major contender.
  
  But he made several fundamental errors:
  
  First, he never made the transition from governor to candidate for President. There’s a whole different issue set between state-level officials and national-level officials, and Walker never finished boning up on the new issue set he would have to address as a presidential contender. That led to an unfortunate series of seeming flip-flops, which never seemed to end.
  
  Second, he built a big national campaign staff (more than 90 people on payroll, including a full-time campaign photographer!) before he had the financial infrastructure in place to support it.
  
  Third, he waited until July to formally announce his campaign – which meant he waited until July to start raising the money needed to support a large national campaign infrastructure. By that point, he was already fading in the polls.
  
  After a slow summer that saw the unexpected rise of Donald Trump, Walker’s poll numbers began to sag, and donors grew increasingly concerned that he would not regain momentum. The two GOP debates didn’t help. The reviews of his performance in both debates were brutal – with many people noting that Walker seemed to be the “invisible” candidate, and that he faded into the background … hardly helpful for a campaign desperate to make an impression.
  
  Last week’s debate in Simi Valley, CA was the final straw. Walker spoke for fewer minutes than any other candidate, and major donors reportedly were disappointed in the weak performance.
  
  Politico reports that Walkers’s wife, Tonette Walker, convened an emergency meeting at the Governor’s mansion on Monday morning to discuss the sluggish campaign’s poll numbers and fundraising. Shortly after the meeting concluded, Walker made the decision to drop out.  By that evening, Walker had made the official announcement that he was suspending his campaign.

Is Obama A Muslim?

Barack Obama is a Muslim apologist and a Muslim sympathizer. Does that make him a Muslim?

The short answer, is no. The better answer is no, but...

In the eyes of most Muslims, Barack Obama is one of them. His father was a Muslim and he is therefore either a Muslim or an apostate. Two of Barack's half brothers, George and Malik, are devout Muslims having inherited their faith from their father.

It might be more accurate to say that Barack Obama is fueled by OPEC more than by anything spiritual. Follow the global/warming/climate change/climate disruption money and you find yourself in the Middle East. OPEC's prime objective is to prevent US energy independence and worse yet, (for countries like Qatar) US energy exports.

OPEC is not stupid and they know that windmills and solar panels and biofuels are nothing more than science projects and a century from now "alternative fuels" will be the energy of the future. Nothing is so threatening to the sultans and the Saudis than an America that has fully harnessed its oil, coal and natural gas. OPEC will do whatever it takes to promote a Green Agenda.

Yes, Barack Obama loves the theocracy of Iran and he is reluctant to fight ISIS (but he will call them ISIL. Take that, bad non-jihadist.) He goes out of his way to whitewash jihadist terrorism. He shows overt hostility to Israel and is indifferent to the plight of Middle East Christians. He went out his way to snub the Charlie Hebdo victims of workplace violence. It is not hard to see why one might jump to conclusions about Obama's true faith.

Concerning Barack Obama's faith two truths are painfully self-evident:

1. There exists a Cult of Obama that literally deifies the man.

2. Barack Obama has not just accepted his deification as a matter of course for someone who is just so gosh darn awesome. No, Barack Obama has played an active role in promoting the idea that he is metaphysically different, and metaphysically superior to the rest of humanity.

To the second point, Barack Obama is possessed by a sense of grandeur that would be foreign to normal people. In layman's terms, he isn't playing with a full deck of cards. Borrowing from the vernacular, he believes his own bullshit.

This blog has been proactive in exposing Barack Obama's shameless self-adulation. If the life of Barack Obama can be reduced to one event, it would be his visit to Georgetown University in which the newly-elected president insisted that all references to Christ be shrouded. Change had come to America and Change would not share the stage with the likes of You Know Who.

Barack Obama might be appreciative of Islam' s tenet of aniconism, that forbids the visual display of Allah or the Prophet Muhammad. Middle East dictators seem to embrace this principle because it allows them to display their own faces everywhere without competition from religious icons. Perhaps this is why Islam seems to lend itself to the advancement of Sultans and Shahs and Emirs.

The Georgetown incident clarified that Barack Obama is a Christian in name only. It might make us wonder if Barack Obama could be anything--a Muslim for instance--other than an Obamacist.

Michael Barone: Placid Democrats Versus Unruly Republicans

This isn't another "Donkeys are from Venus..." kind of essay.

One sign is the changing mood of the two parties' constituencies, their primary electorates. Traditionally, Republicans have been regarded as docile, "easily led," as a political reporter once characterized evangelical Christians. Traditionally, Democrats have congratulated themselves for their critical, skeptical nature and refusal to take orders.

That's not how the two parties look today. Democrats look like girls in the second grade, who when they finish their workbook exercises fold their hands on their desks and wait for Teacher's next order. Republicans act like second-grade boys, wiggling in their chairs, jumping up and pulling classmates' hair, making flatulence jokes and dodging Teacher's reproof.

Republicans give scathingly negative ratings to their party leaders, while placid Democrats give unanimous favorable ratings to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. That's the main reason Obama's second-term job approval has remained unprecedentedly steady while George W. Bush's plunged after disorder in Baghdad and New Orleans.
