No, Trump did not run as a fiscal conservative but he did promote himself as a guy who is smart enough to read a balance sheet. He did portray himself as a savvy businessman who recognized the evils of waste, fraud and abuse.
Maybe the Tea Party can reignite, this time without harassment from the IRS. We don't need a third party, we need a hostile takeover of an existing party.
