Maybe you think Senators should pay attention to critical hearings before deciding to send the country to war. Maybe again, you feel it is just plain good manners to listen to boring people such a John Kerry who admittedly does not have eloquence of say, a Joe Biden. Senator John McCain evidently heard all he needed to know at today's Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. To ward off the tedium of listening to Secretary Kerry, McCain whipped out his iPhone for a brisk game of online poker.
After he became aware that he had been busted McCain tweeted this lame excuse.
This is the sort of gaucherie one would expect
from President Black Barry but he can't use a smart phone.
