OH NO! Super wealthy and super friend of Barack Hussein Obama, Mark Zuckerberg wants to drill in ANWR. Yeah sure, next I suppose he favors the Keystone Pipeline. He does. But he's loyal to Obama. Then why does the group he founded, FWD.US, buy campaign ads for Lindsay Graham?
Generally these bipartisan groups tend to be long on oratory, left leaning, and short on controversy but FWD.US which is made up of tech giants Zuckerberg, NationBuilder’s co-founder Joe Green, LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman, Dropbox’s Drew Houston and others seems to enjoy controversy. The Lindsay Graham ad is paid for by Americans For A Conservative Direction, as subsidiary of FWD.US. It attacks Obamacare, “wasteful stimulus spending,” and “seedy Chicago-style politics.”
The second ad is paid for by a another subsidiary, Council for American Job Growth, and lauds Sen. Mark Begich for “working to open ANWR to drilling.” The ad also does not mention immigration reform but does highlight Begich’s support of a balanced budget amendment.
