Obama's Economy And Lack Of Ownership By The Organizer-In-Chief

I am skeptical of all things Obama but I have never particularly disliked the man. I don't trust him but I don't despise him. But Obama is working to change that. Obama is working to make himself despicable.

What disgusts me about Obama? His failure to take ownership of the present economy. When he tells the world that he "inherited" an economic mess, it shows the world what a fundamentally dishonest person he happens to be. For the record, Obama served in the US Senate for 4 years prior to getting elected president. Two of those years, his party controlled Congress. Like it or not, Obama and his cronies contributed as much to our economic woes as did the Bush Administration.

Governor Bush and Governor Clinton and Governor Reagan and Governor Carter and Vice President Nixon could complain legitimately about what they inherited. Senator Obama of the Majority Party on the other hand, created the mess he now stews in. Obama knows that. We are constantly reminded that he is an ever so brilliant constitutional lawyer. He knows which branch of government makes law.

But Obama also knows that a lot of Americans are woefully ignorant of the rudiments of our government. This is especially true of Obama supporters. If you don't believe me, refer to the Zogby poll (posted at this site in video summary) where Obama supporters failed to identify the party in power less than 50% of the time. It is to this cult of ignorance that Obama addresses his comments.

But Candidate Obama is now President Obama and it is time for him to take responsibility for the record of Senator Obama. Take ownership for the slide of the Dow from 13,000 to its current 9,000. Take ownership of our collapsing dollar. Take ownership of our rising levels of unemployment. Take ownership of record deficits that might be impossible to repay.

Obama will not take ownership because he is fundamentally dishonest. This is where the news media should enter the fray. I bet journalists from the Cronkite era would not give Obama a mulligan on the economy. Every time he repeated his fairy tale the old guard press corps would have called him on it. Every time.

We know the new media play by a different rule book. Truth is optional and is only employed when it favors sanctioned players. But we know the truth and it is our duty to inform the world of an inconvenient truth: This is an economy created by the Democratic Party. This is Obama's Economy!

Tell the truth, Mr. President. You are not just addressing your useful idiots any more. You are addressing citizens who understand the mechanics of our government. Please do not insult us further about the mess you inherited. We respect leaders who tell the truth even when we disagree with them. Tell the truth.

Obamacare Seems To Have Hit A Snag

I am skeptical of Obamacare but I do see the Senator's argument. I know of people who can afford insurance and refuse to buy it. When they get sick or injured they go to the ER and ultimately stiff the hospital. Who pays for the treatment? Got a mirror?

HE'S A WHAT?

I Don't Follow This Man's Logic But...

But this sort of logic is not that unusual amongst the Obotomicized.

IF YOU WATCH THIS VIDEO, ARE YOU PROMOTING TERRORISM?

What Did He Say?

I could not sit on this one. I think the hosts are "Truthers" but I am not sure. One hell of a story though.

Peasants With Pitchforks Address a Republican Traitor. Maybe Americans are not as stupid or as docile as some people thought. I would love to get Mike Castle's opinion on that subject.
