ACORN could unravel a thread that reveals a broader pattern of voter impropriety in a manner similar to Watergate. Voter fraud and abuse pops of all over America and it does seem to invlove a recurring cast of characters.
Whatever you want to say about the Nixon Gang, they did not request public funding for The Plumbers.
